Connector Certification Portal

Support ended 15 Jan 2025 · 20 months ago

The preview portal partners used to submit and certify Power Query SDK connectors for shipping in Power BI Desktop, the on-premises data gateway and Power Query Online was retired. Certification of custom data connectors runs through Microsoft directly now, not self-service submission.

Move to Go through Microsoft's partner connector certification process; the portal itself is gone.

Power BI Q&A (legacy natural-language query)

Effective 28 Feb 2027 · in 5 monthsAnnounced 10 Sept 2026

Power BI Q&A, the legacy natural-language querying experience, is being retired. The date has slipped from December 2026 to February 2027 to give tenants longer to find what depends on it. Anything built on a linguistic schema, and any Q&A visual sitting in a published report, needs a Copilot-based replacement before then.
